Francisco was born in Garame de Arriba, Durango on May 6, 1948 to the late Juan and María Duarte. He is one of thirteen born children and survived by five siblings: Rubén Duarte, Javier Duarte, Matilde Duarte, Ofelia Duarte and Reyna Duarte.
He married Teresa Duarte on April 28, 1973. Francisco is survived by five children: Maria Romero-Osorio, Francisco Duarte, Ricardo Duarte, David Duarte, and Dalila Duarte. Francisco is also survived by nine grandchildren: Sergio Nodarse, Jocelyn Nodarse, Isabel Duarte, Scarlett Duarte, Isabella Nodarse, Daniela Duarte, Jocelyn Duarte, Vianni Duarte, Francisco Duarte, and one great-grandchild Julianna González.
Family and friends may pay their respects at Casey Rios Funeral, 4540 W. Diversey Ave., Chicago, IL 60639. All are welcome for visitation on Sunday, November 30th from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
A mass celebrating Francisco's life will be held at St. Mary of the Angels Church, 1850 N. Hermitage Ave., Chicago, IL on Monday, December 1st 10:00 a.m.
The burial will take place at 12:00 p.m. at Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 N Ravenswood Ave., Chicago, IL 60660.

Francisco nació en Garame de Arriba, Durango, el 6 de mayo de 1948, hijo de los difuntos Juan y María Duarte. Es uno de trece hijos y le sobreviven cinco hermanos: Rubén Duarte, Javier Duarte, Matilde Duarte, Ofelia Duarte y Reyna Duarte.
Se casó con Teresa Duarte el 28 de abril 1973. A Francisco le sobreviven cinco hijos: Maria Romero-Osorio, Francisco Duarte, Ricardo Duarte, David Duarte y Dalila Duarte. También le sobreviven nueve nietos: Sergio Nodarse, Jocelyn Nodarse, Isabel Duarte, Scarlett Duarte, Isabella Nodarse, Daniela Duarte, Jocelyn Duarte, Vianni Duarte, Francisco Duarte y una bisnieta Julianna González.
