Funeral services for Francisco Javier Gloria Fava, 50, of Lufkin, will be held Friday, September 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Deacon Gary Trevino officiating. Interment will follow at Berry Cemetery.

Mr. Francisco was born on December 30, 1974, in Mexico, to the late David Gloria and Evangelina Fava, and died Monday, September 1, 2025, in Longview.

Mr. Francisco will be remembered for his love of singing, dancing, and cheering for his favorite baseball team the Texas Rangers. On Sundays he enjoyed spending the day at the soccer fields. He liked cooking out for family and friends and trips to the San Antonio River Walk. He was a fan of WWE. Mr. Francisco was a hard worker and had a side business with waterslides and mechanical bulls. He had a huge heart for helping others and will be missed.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years Reyna Gloria; son and wife, Francisco and Jazmin Gloria; daughter, Natali Gloria; son, William Gloria; granddaughter, Elisa Martinez; numerous nieces and nephews; siblings, Beatriz Rodriguez, Gloria Fava, Dario Fava, Jesus Fava, and Viduardo Fava.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and son David Guadalupe Gloria.

Pallbearers will be Francisco Gloria, Sergio Rodriguez, William Gloria, Marco Rodriguez, Marcos Garza, Efrain Zamora, and Hector Guel.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Shafer Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.
