Francisco Guzman Obituary
Smithfield, NC: Mr. Francisco Valadez Guzman, age 60 died Saturday, February 11, 2023 at his son’s residence. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton Grove. Father Mark Wise will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Valadez was born on July 12, 1962 in Mexico to the late Baudelio Valadez Barajas and Delfina Guzman Alcala. He was preceded in death by his brother, J. Luz Valadez Guzman. Mr. Valadez was a farmer. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and taking care of his farm animals especially the roosters. Mr. Valadez enjoyed his cup of coffee every morning.
Surviving is his wife, Deborah Darlene Valadez of Smithfield; children, Luby H. Langley, Jr., Terra D. Calderon, Angelica Maza, Delfina Rosas, Francisco Valadez, Jr., Juan Miguel Valadez, Baudelio Valadez, Blanca Oliva, and Luz G. Valadez, all of Smithfield; twenty-four grandchildren; sisters, Ana Maria Valadez of Selma, Juana Valadez of Princeton; brother, Juan Valadez of Mexico; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
