Francisco Javier Montes Ocasio

Francisco "Bori" Montes, age 58, of Bridgeport, CT, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2024, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born on January 28, 1966, in Utuado, Puerto Rico, Francisco was the beloved son of parents Luz Villanueva & Francisco Montes from Utuado, who raised him alongside his five siblings: Rafael, Manuel, Lineiva, Jose, and Franky.
After spending his early years in Puerto Rico, Francisco relocated to Bridgeport to support his mother. Known for his charismatic and funny personality, Francisco was always willing to help others. His generous spirit extended to his hobbies, where he was deeply involved in helping his neighbors and the wider community. Professionally, Francisco was a dedicated auto mechanic, admired for his hard work and skill.
Francisco is survived by his seven children: Cristian, Franky, Jonathan, Edwin, Francesca, Christopher, and Jarilys, as well as six cherished grandchildren. He also leaves behind his loving mother and his brothers, who will forever hold his memory close.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Francisco's life at the Community Funeral Chapels 798 Park Ave. Bridgeport, CT, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM. Interment will be held privately. Francisco will be remembered for his boundless generosity, his infectious humor, and his unwavering dedication to those he loved.
