On November 20, 2023, Francisco Morales Jr, 74, of Harker Heights, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was born on December 5, 1948, in Laredo, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Francisco & Hermelinda Morales. Frank was the oldest of 10 children (Anita, Jane, Fidel, Rudy, Helen, John, David, Susan, Alice).
Frank met the love of his life, Andrea, at the Cellar, a popular dance hall and immediately knew she would become his lifelong dance partner and best friend. They were married in October 1968. They recently celebrated 55 loving years together and had six children: Frank (Andrea) Morales, DeAnna Halvax (Michael), Lucinda Buck (Thomas), Leah Benson, Andrew Morales (Casey), Rachel Hearne (Dee). They enjoyed a total of 29 Grandchildren, 35 Great-Grandchildren; along with an abundance of relatives: cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Frank was a truck driver by profession. He loved being behind the wheel of his big rig out on the open road. Just listening to the purr of anything ‘diesel’ was a high for him. He was known by all for his generosity and his willingness to help anyone, anytime he could.
As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, his passion was engaging in the ministry sharing his faith and hope regarding God’s promise to shortly bring an end to all of mankind’s suffering and how God’s Kingdom will then usher in permanent peace to Earth’s inhabitants. He enjoyed the association of family, congregation get-togethers, laughter, and dancing.
Frank had that sparkling personality that immediately connected him with total strangers, and because of his genuine empathy for others, he always displayed personal interest in everyone. His motto that he lived by was ‘How can I help you?’
Frank will be best remembered for the love he had for his Heavenly Father, his wife, and all his family. He was a great storyteller with a sharp mind and enthusiastically shared those accounts frequently. He will be greatly missed!
