Francisco Jose Ramirez

Francisco Jose Ramirez, fondly known as Frank, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, in Guilford County, North Carolina, at the age of 77. Born on November 23, 1947, in the vibrant land of Puerto Rico, Frank lived a life rich in service, love, and passion.

Frank's journey began in Puerto Rico, where he graduated from Juan H Osuna High School. He soon embarked on a path dedicated to protecting and serving others, initially as a policeman in his beloved homeland. His dedication to duty led him to serve his country with distinction in the Vietnam War as a proud member of the United States Army for seven years.

Following his military service, Frank continued his commitment to public service by working as a personal accountant at the Pentagon, followed by a stationing in Vicenza, Italy. Upon returning to the United States, he served as a corrections officer in Louisiana, contributing to the safety and security of his community.

In the latter part of his career, Frank found his calling as a Structure mechanic at Haeco, where he worked for 23 years. His time there was marked not only by his exemplary work ethic but also by the camaraderie he shared with his coworkers, who became like family to him.

Frank had a deep-seated love for baseball, a passion he inherited from his father. He enjoyed traveling across the country to catch games and cherished the time spent immersed in the sport he adored. A loyal viewer of Fox News, Frank stayed informed on the world around him. He also relished playing the lottery, often sharing the excitement with those close to him.

Above all, Frank's greatest joy was his loving relationship with his spouse, Maria Ramirez, who survives him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and friendship, cherished by his special friend Michael Edwards, dear friend Cristobal Diaz, his brother Sergio Ramirez, and his dogs. His passing is also mourned by numerous other family members and friends who were touched by his kindness and warmth.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Heriberto Jose Ramirez and Gladys Ortiz, as well as his Brother Louis Ramirez, whose memories he carried in his heart throughout his life.

A memorial service to celebrate Frank's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his remarkable journey and bid farewell to a man who lived with courage, integrity, and an enduring love for those around him.

Frank's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
