Franco Tilli passed away on September 3,2023 after a brave and courageous battle with head and neck cancer, with his family and friends lovingly by his side.
He was born February 17, 1978, to Domenico and Angela Tilli of Elmwood Park, NJ, where he was raised and lived for his entire life. A strong work ethic was instilled into Franco from a very young age working with his Father, uncle, and brother in the construction business, D. Tilli Construction. For 45 years, Franco's attention to detail and love for his work, family and friends was always apparent to anyone who ever knew or met him. Franco's personality was one of a kind as he would talk to anyone about anything with kindness and generosity. His big heart, warm smile and energy were felt the moment he entered a room and watching Franco laugh in seemingly ordinary moments made them suddenly joyful for those around him.
Franco was predeceased by his hard-working Father, Domenico Tilli, who died February 1, 2012, and is survived by his strong and unconditionally loving Mother, Angela Tilli, his loyal brother, Michele Tilli, and his dedicated sister, Alexandra Trovato, as well as his sister-in-law, Ariella Tilli, and brother-in-law, Frankie Trovato. Also, Franco is survived by his Godson and nephew, Domenic Tilli, and his Goddaughter and niece, Luciana Tilli as well as his nephew, Marcello Trovato, and his Goddaughter Bryana Logothetis along with his cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
Franco was an old soul with old-fashioned Italian values and principles where he made it his duty and obligation to provide for his family after his Father passed. He will be forever remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them and when his time came, Franco carried himself with dignity, strength and full of love for those who went before him. Franco will be missed dearly but never forgotten.
Family, friends, and others whose lives, Franco touched are invited to the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07013 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, September 8, 2023, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and his surviving family. A funeral will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 10:00am, at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Avenue Paterson, NJ 07501. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Franco wore his massive heart on his sleeve, his smile could light up the sky and you could feel his larger than life´s aura when he saw you.We will always remember his love for our family as we considered Franco our family and always will. He enjoyed & looked forward to Easter for our Pizza Gena Pie and so appreciative & happy to enjoy. We love him and will be painfully missed. God rest his soul and one day we will all meet again.
Our sincere & deepest sympathies, Angela & family, you are all our prayers in this very difficult time. Franco you will always be in our hearts and your smile will always shine in our minds.
