Frank Acevedo, May 3, 2022, 67, beloved husband of the late Olivia Rios Acevedo. Cherished father of Francine (Bayron) Garcia, Dina Acevedo, Frank J. Acevedo, Tania (Gabriel) Ibarra, Conception Acevedo, Angela Acevedo, Dominick Acevedo and the late Anthony, Acevedo. Devoted grandfather of 27 and joyful great-grandfather of 40 +. Beloved son of the late Frances Patrone and Juanita nee Ramirez Acevedo.
Frank was a fond brother of Roxanne (Humberto) Hoffman, Alexander (Faye) Acevedo, Joseph Acevedo, Vincent Acevedo, Anthony (Olga) Acevedo and Mark Acevedo (Marissa Mancillas). He was a fun-loving uncle and friend to many. He was the proud "cat-dad" of his furry cat Luci'fur, who will miss their daily routines.
Frank was born and raised in the Pilsen neighborhood. He was voted the Best Cook and Best Baker by every family member. He enjoyed his daily purchase of his lottery tickets. Frank loved all varieties of music, especially songs by his favorite artist, James Brown! He, like his late wife Olivia, was a Avid White Sox Fan.
Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Friday, May 13,, 2022 from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral Saturday, May 14, 2022 10 a.m. Service at Funeral Home. Cremation will follow in accordance with Frank's wishes.
For those attending services, MASK WEARING IS ENCOURAGED.
