Gary J. Polchlopek

71, lifelong southside resident passed away August 13, 2025. Beloved son of the late Clara Polchlopek and the late Edward Polchlopek; devoted brother of Kenny Polchlopek, the late Ronnie Polchlopek, and the late Michael Polchlopek; fond nephew of Robin Cutler; cherished cousin of Gerald (Hanna) Guralnick, Pamela (Pete) Ray, Michael (Lori) Cutler, and Chucky Cutler; also survived by numerous friends and extended family.

Gary was a lifelong parishioner at St. Symphorosa Church. He enjoyed golfing and going to baseball games, especially the Chicago White Sox! Whenever he'd visit his cousins, it always led him to travel to the surrounding neighboring states. He loved traveling and sight-seeing, taking in the scenery around him. A very devoted and caring brother to his siblings, as well as to his adoring mother and father. He will always be remembered, deeply loved and never forgotten.

The family will gather on August 18, 2025 at Central Chapel, located at 6158 S Central Ave, Chicago, IL. Funeral prayer service at 11:00 am. Interment immediately following the prayer service located at Resurrection Cemetery.
