76, longtime resident of Chicago's south side, Back of the Yards neighborhood, passed away July 25, 2025. Beloved husband of Amelia Gonzalez; loving father of Alex, Carlos, Agustin, and Stefanie Gonzalez; cherished grandpa of Andres, Naomi, Mia, Ibrahim, Bryce, Grant, Madilyn, and Isis and great grandpa of Eva and Arrya; dearest brother of Uncle Al, late Sylvia, late Virginia, and late Jamie.
Agustin loved watching futbol and listening to his favorite music. Some of his favorite composers included Alberto Cortez, the Beatles, and Jose Jose. Most of all Agustin cherished time spent with his family. He will always be remembered and never forgotten.
Resting at Central Funeral Chapel, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago. Visitation Friday, August 1, 2025 from 3-8 pm. Funeral Service Saturday, August 2, 2025, with Chapel Prayers at 8:45 am to St. Rita of Cascia Parish, 6243 S. Fairfield Ave, Chicago, IL for a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
