Alexia Gonzalez

Alexia "Chica" Yetsemanie Gonzalez, 25, of Lafayette, IN, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025. She was born on August 6, 1999 in Monticello, Indiana to the late Jose Luis Gonzalez and Karina Rios Campos. Alexia graduated from high school in Mexico where she spent most of her life. On January 7, 2025, she married Madison Ely in Lafayette and she survives. Alexia worked for Caterpillar Lafayette for the past 5 years and was a member of Bass & Gals Fishing Club. Alexia loved to fish and be with her friends and family. She was very kind, caring, down to earth, and wore her heart on her sleeve. Surviving is her wife, Madison Gonzalez of Lafayette; her mother and step father, Karina Rios and Jose Chazez of Mexico; her brother Oscar Ruiz; and her in-laws, Paul & Jennifer Ely. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Maria Irene Campos, who she loved and cared for deeply. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel.
