Conway.. Frank Barnhill, age 71, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
Mr. Barnhill was born in Conway, a son of the late Henry Ceils Barnhill, Sr. and Frances Wise Barnhill. He was a member of Jamestown Baptist Church and was active in the men's ministries and Ironmen of the church. Mr. Barnhill had also been a part of several mission trips to Belize. He was a US Army veteran and had retired from the Horry County Planning and Zoning Department. In addition to his parents, Mr. Barnhill was predeceased by a daughter, Whitney Barnhill, a brother, Henry C. Barnhill, Jr., a sister, Judy Barnhill Poston and a niece, Tanya Poston.
Surviving are: his wife, Tammie Tyler Barnhill of Conway; one step daughter, Cassie Brown (Andrew) of Conway; four grandchildren, Brewer Cannon, Hunter Brown, Lakeley Cannon, and Anna-Claire Brown; one brother, Gregg Barnhill of Myrtle Beach; three sisters, Sarah Barnhill of Aynor, Sherry Jenerette (Marcus) of Galivants Ferry; and Lisa Barnhill of Surfside Beach, SC; brother in laws and sister in law, Randy Poston of Myrtle Beach and Amanda and Royce June of Latta, SC; nieces and nephews, Sandy Matthews (Jay) and Jessie Hendrick (Blake), Kamden Matthews, Kade Matthews, Hampton Hendrick, and Tyler June (Rebekah); and great nieces and nephew, Mia, Sophie, and Hayes.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM Thursday from Jamestown Baptist Church with Rev. Jamey Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM Thursday.
