Frank was born in Oakland, California to Frank Baughman, Sr and Frances Ahlin. During his early childhood, he lived in Oakland, Fresno, and Oregon, then finally back to Oakland. He graduated from Oakland Tech High School among the top in his class. He attended UN Reno and University of Utah. He obtained a Master's degree in math. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Buenos Aries, Argentina. He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany. He married Mary Call on March 23, 1959. He taught math at Acalanes HS for 29 years. During the summer he attended church girl's camp as staff for 40 years. He was dedicated to his family, church, and country-especially the US flag. He loved root beer soda and strawberry shakes.
Frank was preceded in death by his sweetheart and we are sure he is more than happy to be with her once again. He is survived by his three children, Anne (Brian) Bernecker, John Baughman, Nancy (Galen) Coupe, seven grandchildren, Joshua Baughman, Brandon Baughman, Steven Bernecker (Maggie), Ashley Baughman, Sarah (Marcelo) Souza, Helen Giron, and Daniel Bernecker and 3 great-grandchildren, Astraea, Tyler and Grayson, and his sister Audrey Withers of Boise, ID.
