Frank Nowell Brock, age 85, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, October 18, 2025, with his beloved wife by his side. Born on September 19, 1940, in Englewood, Tennessee, Frank was the son of the late Frank Brock and Grace Duggan Brock.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Frank enlisted in February 1959 and served his country with honor. Following his military service, he answered a higher calling and became a Church of God minister, dedicating his life to faith and service. He was a cherished member of Resaca Assembly of God and the Dalton American Legion, where his presence and leadership were deeply valued.
Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved his family dearly. His warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love were the foundation of his home. He found joy in simple pleasures, especially watching his favorite show, Gun Smoke, which brought him comfort and laughter through the years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Brock; sons, Kent Brock and Jeff (Sherry) Brock; daughter, Laura Tinker; brother, Dud-do Brock; grandchildren, Michael Brock, Heather Minick, Abby Noblitt, Tanner Fountain, Seth Whittemore, Sawyer Tinker, and Katie Bryant; and four great-grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also mourn his passing and celebrate his life.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home, with Reverend Jimmy McClure and Reverend Steve Burns officiating. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Dalton Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
Frank Nowell Brock will be remembered for his steadfast faith, his service to others, and the deep love he gave to everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and the community he so faithfully served.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the angels that walked among them.
