Dr. Budd was a good mentor and a friend to me at College of Charleston. I was saddened to hear of his passing. I would have loved to be there with you at the funeral to celebrate his life at the funeral, but unfortunately I was out of town. I will definitely miss running into him in Mt. Pleasant.

I just learned of Frank's passing. I'm so sorry. Frank was so nice and always ready to give a smile and hand shake and great conversation. My deepest sympathy to Patty and the family.

My Uncle Frank was the kindest most patient man I´d ever known. I´ll never forget the air shows he and Aunt Patty took us to while stationed at Whiteman AFB.

I remember my Grandma Rae was golfing with Uncle Frank several years ago and Frank had shanked one into the woods on approach. Grandma then sets herself up a nice 3ft birdie putt with her next shot. Determined to find his ball back, Uncle Frank pursued his shot into the woods. To speed things up Grandma decided to tap in for birdie then help Frank. Just as she´s about to putt Frank yells "HERE IT IS!!"
Grandma missed the putt and never said a word to Frank. I´m sure they´re having a good laugh about it in heaven now.

My Uncle was a terrific man, Christian, and true patriot.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I had the pleasure of working with Frank at the College of Charleston. He played a big part in helping me establish services for our veterans program on campus. His empathy and support for our veteran and military students had a profound effect on our campus community. He was a great man, and the world is a better place because of him.

While stationed together at Scott AFB, we were so blessed to watch Frank and Patty fall in love with Jesus, and fall more in love with each other! What a life well lived!
