Frank Budzinski

March 16, 1981 – November 7, 2021

John 11:25-26 "…I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."

With profound sadness we announce the natural passing of our dearly loved Frankie. Unresolved grief, trauma and stress wore on his health for many years. Frank "I told you I was sick" Budzinski, took his last breath at home, on November 7, 2021. His dearly loved friend, Carlos, was at his side. Frank was a believer in God and we believe that he is now an Angel Among Us.

Frankie was born March 16, 1981 in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. He was the youngest son of John Budzinski and Rosalie Pellegrino.

Frank lived on a virtual rollercoaster. His life was full of suffering and SIX near death experiences. But that didn't matter to him. He woke each day with a smile, inspiration to be offered to others, glad to have another day and enough laughter to fill a concert hall. He had no desire to simply survive he wanted to LIVE! He had a keen intellect, charming personality, and infectious sense of humor. Frank never met a stranger. Some of his favorite things included visiting with family, fishing with the boys, learning, reading, passionately debating politics, eating Lenders Bagels with melted cheese on top, letting his family members win at chess so they would play with him again and again, sharing the evenings engaged in video games with his friends and nephews, sitting peacefully listening to music, and watching Fox News.

Frank was a blast to be with whether the time was spent eating, telling stories, attending church with his mom, shouting over dice games, kneading dough for Christmas cookies, playing slot machines at Potawatomi, preparing conch salad for the holidays, laughing, crying, praying or even sitting outside having a cigarette. He was a compassionate man who stayed up all night to comfort others when they needed him. You could count on him to reframe your worst days and make them funny. He was an outstanding performer at his job on the pipeline. The safety standards he set at work were published and implemented across his industry preventing innumerable injuries on the job. He is missed already.

After surviving an 8 days long coma during Spring he knew these were his last days. In his own words he said it was his time to go as he had, "Lived a good life with no regrets." He had peace believing this was God's will. Even in Frank's last week he shared his sense of humor with all those at his side.

Frankie never married or had children. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, cousin and friend. He is survived by his Father John (Pam), brother Aaron (Patty), sisters Darlene (Ruben), Ann Marie (Mike) and April; Aunt JoAnne; nieces and nephews Emily, Kaylee, Lucy, Salvatore, Rex, Alice and Matthew; best friend Carlos.

Family and friends will gather to mark Frank's passing on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Heritage Funeral Home 1901 N. Farwell Avenue from 11:00 AM until time of the Memorial Service at 12:00 PM

This will be an indoor memorial service to remember Frankie.

Frankie's favorite flower was the Rose.

Lunch to follow at Pitch's Restaurant on Humboldt.

Frank's final wish was to be buried alongside his mom at Holy Cross Cemetery. His ashes will be placed with her body at a later date.

Frank - I just learned of your passing & it breaks my heart. We met in middle school... alphabetically you always sat behind me in the classes we shared. As the jokster you were, I was either getting poked with pencils or my hair was being tugged. You were a true light always trying to make others laugh. Rest easy my friend... until we meet again. My sincerest condolences to your family & friends
