Jeannette M. (Charron) Budzinski, 93, of Auburn, died on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at her home.
Born in Northbridge, MA, to her parents (Thomas Joseph) Edward Charron and Mary Louise (Morel), Jeannette was a longtime resident of Auburn. She worked at College of the Holy Cross for nearly 25 years in various departments, including housekeeping and printing.
Jeannette and her late husband Dan enjoyed bowling and ballroom dancing, as well as visiting with family. She volunteered for many years with the Linus Project and was an RSVP volunteer at UMass for over 15 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing, and especially quilting. If you knew her well, chances are you were gifted one, if not more, of her quilts. Jeannette would admit that she wasn't the best chef, but she enjoyed making every meal for her family; her Polish Golumpki, Toutieres (French meat pies), and Swedish rosette cookies were always requested for special gatherings.
Jeannette was very practical and would reuse, repurpose, and recycle to infinity and beyond. She could be stubborn at times, like when she insisted on shoveling snow each winter until she reached age 90. She always kept lists of groceries and chores, and while she hated to give up driving, she took delight in being able to tell her children where to go and what to do again.
She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Daniel Budzinski, for whom she was a devoted caretaker; along with her parents, and her siblings: Lorraine Lussier Hall, Cecile Renault, Robert Charron, and David Charron.
She is survived by her three children, Dianne Bessette, James Budzinski, and June Ganley; her grandchildren, Ryan Budzinski, Stephen Seaward, and Katelyn and Alissa Ganley; and great-grandchildren, Kingston and Ella Budzinski, and Satu Seaward. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, her beloved friend of more than 60 years, Mildred Cummings and her family, and her wonderful neighbors.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Budzinski family from 9:30 – 10:30 AM on Monday, July 7, 2025 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM, and will be celebrated at North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn, with burial immediately following at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.

Jeanette was such a lovely, strong lady. I enjoyed chatting with her at guild meeting. I have missed her lately, and wish I had inquired about her. She was a blessing in your life. With sincere sympathy. Chottsie
