Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral HomeFrank Norris Burnside of Mineral Wells TX, born in Carlsbad NM June 5, 1945 passed away on September 27, 2025.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda and his 4 legged girl “Lady”.
Daughter, Michelle Burnside of Mabank, TX, son Jimmy R. Burnside and daughter in law Arley of Artesia, NM.
Grandchildren Eric Jaynes and wife Jordyn, Malyn Jaynes, Jimmy Burnside, Chris Burnside, Roper Childress and Stormy Childress.
Great granddaughters Ellie, Holly & Maci Jaynes and many other relatives and friends who he loved dearly.
Frank graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1963, met the love of his life Linda and they married in June 1966. He served in the Army Reserves and was a man of many talents. He retired from Skyline Chemical and was a member of Southside Church of Christ.
He loved being outdoors and spent many years in the mountains of New Mexico with his family and friends doing anything from bringing home their annual Christmas tree, looking for Indian artifacts, or hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed taking many vacations with Linda, whether that was on 2 or 4 wheels.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Frank on Saturday, October 11th at 10 am, Southside Church of Christ, 1401 SE 25th Ave, Mineral Wells TX.
