Frank Cerrito Obituary
He was the son of the late Angelina Cerrito and will be remembered for his deep love of Charlene, his devotion to his pets, his tremendous passion for sports, and his generous spirit-always quick to lend a hand to those around him. Frank's warmth, enthusiasm, and loyalty left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his brother Joseph F. Cerrito of Coventry, his sister Julianne Cerrito of North Kingstown, his cherished nieces and nephews Rachel Wayne of West Warwick, Walmen Dumaliang of Brooklyn, NY, and Lee Dumaliang (Rachel Bryer) of Newport, RI, and his proud great-nephew Robert Wayne of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Cerrito.
Frank's kindness, humor, and passion for life will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love of fishing often brought him to Hazard Avenue in Narragansett, where he found peace and joy.
A private Celebration of Life will be held on October 19, 2025, in North Kingstown.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) at https://www.rispca.org.
