Davis, Frank T. age 60, of Dayton, Ohio departed this life Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital.
He graduated from Dunbar High School in 1983. He joined the Navy Reserves and was honorable discharge in 1989. For ten years, he worked for Digitron Inc. and Select Tool & Die. He stopped working for health reasons. He got on Dialysis in 2010 and for 14 years three times a week for four hours a day and several other health complications kept him busy.
He was a devoted husband of 18 years and father of 6 who loved to play dominoes, both online and in person. A very loving grandfather who stated that he'd do anything for them.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Clanford Avant Howard; mother, Emma Reid; and 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Davis; 6 children: Brittney Turner (Ella); Jamar Payton (Jamar Jr., JaMarionna, Ja'Niha, Jaidyn), Lamar Payton (Lamar Jr., Lamaria, Marley, Clanford Landle, Kaylee, Alanya, Alexander), Darius Davis, Miles B. Freeman (Mylee and Major), Leah Freeman (Jade, Jason, and Jasmine).
Frank is also survived by 5 brothers and 6 sisters: Sonja Bronson of OH, Clanford Howard of MD, Margo Fisher of OH, Sweetriena Garner of OH, Bruce (Olivia) Hunter of MD, Helen (Potito) Saracina of PA, Sarah Pringle-Lewis of ME, Ernest (Cheryl) Johnson of CA, Lu'Venia (Phillip) Howse of FL, John Davis of OH, Adam Flee of OH, and Devin Davis of FL; 2 uncles: Lee Edward (Roberta) Howard and Robert (Wanda) Howard; cousin, Susan Jackson (Buddy) and best friend, Keith Harrial; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
Family will greet family and friends from 5-7pm on Saturday, September, 14, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. No services or burial at this time.
