He was born June 22, 1924 in Beloit, WI, the son of James and Leonarda (Giacalone) DeSarbo. Frank was a 1942 graduate of Beloit High School. He was a WWII veteran serving with the U.S. Army. Frank married Josephine M. Galfano on October 28, 1950 in St. Paul Catholic Church, Beloit, WI. She predeceased him on March 13, 2018.
Frank was formerly employed as an electrician in the Beloit and Janesville areas for over 50 years. He was a former member of Lega Muta, the Fr. DeStefano Knights of St. Paul, Beloit Catholic High Athletic Association and several Electrical Unions.
Survivors include his daughter, Nadine DeSarbo of Tucson, AZ; brother, James (Helma) DeSarbo of Rockford, IL; niece, Marilee (Roy) McClenthen; nephew, Frank Long; great nieces and great nephews, Kayla McClenthen, Paul McClenthen, and Nicole (Brian) Chadwick; great great nephews, Alex McClenthen, Damien Woogler and Austin Chadwick; great great niece, Adalyn Chadwick; goddaughter, Elizabeth (Mark) Boltz; numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Dora Alberti and Grace Long; great nephews, Eric McClenthen and Joshua Long.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Frank will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025 in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church 2222 Shopiere Road, Beloit, WI, with Fr. Bart Timmerman officiating. Inurnment will be in Mt Thabor Cemetery. Visitation of Remembrance will be from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday in the Church. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
