Frank Eugene Dively

DIVELY - Frank Dively, age 87, of Loganville, Georgia, passed away November 23, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held at Antioch Outpost, 546 Treadwell Road, Bethlehem, GA, 30620, Saturday November 29th, 2025, at 2:00pm with Pastor Kent Mangham officiating. Frank had a passion for education, as he achieved his master's degree and taught at Vo-tech, in Drumright, Oklahoma. Frank proudly served in the United States Navy, offering 23 years of honorable and steadfast service to his nation. As an Aviation Machinist Mate, and a Senior Chief Petty Officer, he brought dedication, precision, and heart to his work, embodying the quiet strength and commitment of a true sailor. After retiring from the Navy, Frank took up the hobby of flying to the skies and became a pilot. Frank worked as an assistant manager at Stillwater Regional Airport in Stillwater, Oklahoma, as well as an Airport Director in Athens, Georgia at Benn Epps Airport for a decade. He also worked at Pepboys, an automotive shop, for several years. Just before his 87th birthday, Frank became a business owner of a home-based business after receiving good news of his heart monitor report. Frank continued to exemplify service and compassion through his involvement in many churches over his 37 years in Georgia. He was well known for his passion for mowing lawns at those churches he served and providing excellent service. Frank attended Antioch Church in Bethlehem, and his faith was a guiding light, reflected in the kindness he extended to everyone he met and the warmth he brought into every room. He spoke rarely, but his words carried weight and meaning. Frank was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, whose legacy is one of loyalty, love, and unwavering faith. Frank is preceded in death by his parents John and Allene (Haughey) Diveley and his brother John Haughey Diveley. Frank is survived by loving wife of 44 years, Charlotte (Laepple) Dively of Loganville, GA; his children Annette Mauer, of Richland, OR; Fawn (Marty) Hawes of Warsaw, KY; Shirl (Pat) Morris, of Loudon, TN and Troy (Stacey) Gross, of Flowery Branch, GA; along with his 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchild.
