Frank John Gnoza, age 67, of Red Oak, Texas, passed away on Wednesday August 23, 2023 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Named after his father, Frank’s family gave him the nickname Franky at an early age. This nickname stuck with him most of his life as he was known as Franky to his close friends and family. He was the youngest of four children and lived a free spirited young life as he grew up in Corsicana. Frank found his passion for the outdoors at an early age. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and golf. As an adult, Frank found peace in nature and preferred to spend much of his free time camping with his family and visiting the country home of a dear friend.
Frank graduated from Corsicana High School in 1974. He had a 27-year long career with S. Webb and Associates of Dallas, Texas working in the commercial interior design business. He later retired in October of 2022 from JF Petroleum Group, formerly McCon Building and Petroleum Services after 8 years of service.
Frank was a devoted husband and father and is survived by his wife of 37 years, Gretchen; his son, Jeremy Gnoza and wife Jenny; his son, Zach Gnoza and wife Megan; his son, Hunter Gnoza; and his daughter Hannah Gnoza. He is also survived by brother Peter Gnoza and wife Pamela of Overland Park, Kansas and sister Frances Baird and husband Don of Sherman, Texas. Frank will be remembered by his many friends, extended family, co-workers, and so many more that he impacted throughout his life.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at God’s House, 150 Lone Elm Road, Waxahachie, Texas on Thursday August 31,2023 at 4:00 PM. Memorials can be sent to God’s House in Waxahachie, Texas.
