Frank “Frankie” Lewis Godsey, Jr., 66, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 in ECU North Hospital. Mr. Godsey was born on February 6, 1959 in Jacksonville, NC.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also had a deep love of Nascar, with his favorite driver being Tony Stewart.
Surviving include his mother Patricia Hardison Godsey, his father Frank Lewis Godsey, Sr., his son Travis Lewis Godsey (Ruth), his brothers Eric Eugene Godsey (Kathy), Christopher E. Godsey (Tammy), and Leslie E. Godsey (Laura), and his grandchildren Linley Godsey and Caleb Godsey.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service with the Rev. Jeremey Kobernat officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:45 am, prior to the service. Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com.
