Frank “Oldman” Wade Hackett, Jr., 63, of Palmyra, Virginia, passed away December 22, 2024.
He was born April 10, 1961, to Frank and Mary Hackett.
He is proceeded in death by Wife Mary Tusing Hackett and his parents. He is survived by his children Aaron Hackett, Frank Hackett, III., Melissa Hackett, Rachel Hackett; his brother Glenn Hackett and his 22 grandkids.
Frank was born and raised in Fluvanna County where he graduated high school, lived and called home. Frank enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. The time spent with family and grandkids was what he enjoyed the most, especially when there was food involved. Frank was an example of great work ethic and responsibility. He never knew a stranger.
So much could be said about Frank ultimately, he was the best man one could know always ready with jokes and stories, and he was ready to go no matter where the destination was. He will be missed by all.
