Frank "Frankie" Hemsing, 65, of Virginia, passed from this life into eternal life on September 2, 2025, at Riverside Hospital in Virginia from pancreatic cancer.

Frank was born November 28, 1959 in Schenectady, New York, the son of the late Nancy Gunn and John Koller, and the son of the late Frank and Betty Hemsing.

He is survived by his loving wife, Terri Hemsing, his two sons Frank Hemsing and Kevin Hemsing, and his step daughters Angie Lewis, Kaylee Miloser, and Veronica Lewis. He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses: Linda and Carmine Decker, Barbara and Rick Romero, Katherine and Joe McClure, Robert and Melissa Hemsing, Tom Hemsing, Larry Koller, and Jonni Koller. He was preceded in death by Joe Hemsing, and is also remembered by many nieces and nephews, and his step grandchildren.

Frank graduated from Schroon Lake Central School in 1977. In 1976 before graduating he completed a curriculum for electricity and later attended DeVry Technical Institute where he received his diploma as an Electronics Technician. He also earned several certifications in DataComm and Networks, Programming, Unix/Linux, Tools and Utilities. Frank retired from the Pelco Eastern Office in Newburg, New York, as a Senior Engineer.

Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, photographing birds, and programming, but most of all he cherished the time he spent with loved ones. He was known for his laughter, his kindness, and the smile he always carried. He was a loving person, a devoted husband, family man, and friend who always thought of others first. "To know him was to love him."

A service for family and friends to celebrate Frankie's life will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday September 22, 2025 in Amory Funeral Home Chapel the family will receive friends following the service.
