Frank LaRocca

Frank LaRocca of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. a retired operations manager for Daiwa Securities in Jersey City, N.J. passed away on January 24, 2023 in St. Anthony's Community Hospital in Warwick, N.Y. He was 77.
The son of the late Salvatore and Lena LaRocca, he was born on December 23, 1945 in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake, N.Y.
Frank was the happiest when spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. He shared a special bond with Marisa and Brian, the apples of his eye.
He will be remembered as a world class jazz guitarist, playing in some of the best clubs in N.Y. City. This led to his passion for teaching where he instilled his wisdom on aspiring musicians throughout the years. He was loved and will be missed by many.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Carole LaRocca. His daughters Lisa LaRocca and Amy Ferranti and her husband Robert and his grandchildren Marisa and Brian. He is also survived by his sister Rose and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be held on Sunday January 29, 2023 from 1-4 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday January 30, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake, N.Y.
Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery Warwick, N.Y.
