Frank J. Lella, 54, of Norwich, died on April 4, 2025 at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY.
Born in New York City on September 30, 1970, Frank was a son of Michael and Dolores (Martino) Lella. Frank worked as an EMT in New York City and was very proud of care he was able to provide those in need. To the day of his death, Frank proudly carried his EMT badge from his years of faithful service. After his relocation to Norwich, Frank worked for several retail settings. Frank enjoyed cooking, shopping for family and friends, and caring for others around him, especially his step-mother.
Frank is survived by his step-mother, Cheryl Kennedy-Lella, of Norwich; siblings, Shannon (Jay) Smith, Sarah (Jon) Kennedy-Wahlberg, Erin Kennedy, Michael Kennedy, Joshua Kennedy, and Nicholas (Melenie) McCullough; several nieces and nephews; two great nephews; one great niece; aunt, Theresa Honey; cousins, Billy, Kathy, and Lisa; his nephews’ cats, Snoop, Smalls, and Pac; and special friends, Alvy Tronolone and Dennis Cole.
In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his wife, Lisa Lella, in 2013 and his brother, Michael Lella.
An animal lover at heart, the family requests memorial contributions to the Chenango SPCA, 6160 County Rd 32, Norwich, NY 13815.
A celebration of life will occur at a future date.
