Frank Leone Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home on Feb. 17, 2026.
Frank Leone of Woburn, formerly of Somerville, the West End of Boston, and Belmont, passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2026. He was 63 years old.

Frank was born in Boston, the son of Frank J. Leone and Maria (Zuzolo) Leone. As a child, his family resided in the North End of Boston before moving to Belmont, where Frank received most of his education. He was a proud graduate of Belmont High School, Class of 1981.

Frank held a wide variety of occupations throughout his life. In his younger years, he was a manager at Friendly's Restaurant. It was there that he developed valuable management skills, learned how to cook, and, most importantly, met his future wife, Suzann Ragno. With a strong interest in technology, he furthered his education at ITT Technical Institute. He later became a longtime employee of Siegal Egg Co. in North Billerica. Although his official title was Fleet Manager, Frank was the person who ensured everything ran smoothly-organizing drivers, maintaining trucks, coordinating routes, packing trucks, and occasionally hopping into a truck himself to cover a route when needed.

Frank was a complicated man. On the outside, he could seem intimidating, yet he was deeply caring in his own way. He loved cooking, and his chicken ziti and broccoli, eggs benedict, omelets, and frittata were among his family's favorite dishes. He was the kind of person who would drive an hour just to enjoy a good donut and coffee. Protective and devoted to his children, he was always willing to help when needed.

Frank had many interests. He loved comic books, Star Trek, Star Wars, and Harry Potter. He enjoyed attending Comic Cons, as well as writing and listening to inspirational speakers. He also regularly attended group meetings at his local church.

He was the loving father of Jennifer Leone Harden and her wife, Denee, of Somerville, and Frank John Leone of Somerville. He was the former husband of Suzann (Ragno) Leone of Somerville. He was the brother of Maria Leone of New Hampshire, Carmela Branco of Londonderry, New Hampshire, and Joseph P. Leone of Malden.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Frank's name may be made to MitoAction, www.mitoaction.org, P.O. Box 310, Novi, MI 48376. At the request of Frank's family, all services will be held privately.
