72, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Armando and Frances (Ricci) Macera.
Frank attended Rhode Island College and worked as a security guard for many years before retiring.
An accomplished drummer, Frank traveled throughout New England with his country music band, Carol County Line. He was an avid reader.
He leaves his sister, Maryann J. Babits; and two nephews, David Babits and Matthew Babits. He was the brother-in-law of the late Joseph Babits.
His funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Research Foundation, 6200 N. Hiawatha Ave., Suite 640, Chicago, IL 60646.
