Condolences to the family...I will always remember Frank as a kind, generous sweet friend who it was fun to spend time with sharing the music he loved so much...He'll be sorely missed...

I first met Frank at a collector's house in Fair Lawn, New Jersey some 60 years ago. I would visit him at his apartment in Fort Lee (NJ), where he would graciously play and allow me to tape any records from his fabulous collection. Many weekends we would hit the road looking for records in antique stores in New Jersey and New York; not many finds for old time country, but it was a lot of fun. It was through Frank I met Joe Bussard, Dave Freeman and Loy Beaver, who all owned phenomenal record collections. I'm grateful I was able to visit with him several times after he relocated to Georgia. So many wonderful memories- thanks Frank!

So many fond memories of you Frank. Camping at Escoheague, volunteering at the National and playing music around the kitchen table with you and Larry and whomever else dropped by to name but a few. RIP old friemd and say hi to Larry.

Proud to have been responsible for introducing to Frank the dark underbelly of the goofball faction of the OTM and Bluegrass community. --As long as we could induce Frank into his signature laugh which made everyone happy. As warm and generous a host with an endless wealth of knowledge to share-he was a great travelling companion over many miles of backroads and cityscapes as well in search of shellac. He pioneered the road trip 8-track- custom driving tapes which were an education unto themselves. Frank was a music partner of a high order and I was privileged to share a microphone with him on NYC radio for many productions. Frank's contribution to records, radio and CDs will continue to enrich generations to come! thanks Frank.
