Frank Mauro Obituary

Frank Mauro, 101, passed away peacefully on, October 3, 2025, the same day St. Francis of Assisi, his patron saint, entered eternal life - a sacred and symbolic passing. He was born on Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY, the second of four children to Joseph Frank and Lucy (Garguilo) Mauro.

He is survived by his four children, Joe (Hukum), Nancy Wall (Bob), John (Karen) and Cindy Muller, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Joann of 63 years, his daughter Cathy Mauro Gehauf, son-in-law, Steve Muller, three siblings, and many cherished friends and extended family.

All are welcome to celebrate Frank's life on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 beginning with a Rosary at 10:15am, Funeral Mass at 11:00am, and Luncheon at 12:00pm all at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8035 S Quebec St, Centennial, CO 80112. Burial with Military Honors will follow at 2:30pm at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
