Frank S. McDonald, age 89, a resident of Foreman, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Hospice of Texarkana in Texarkana, Texas.
He was born on September 14, 1936, in Redland, Oklahoma. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, a member of King Ryder Church of Christ and was retired from Ashgrove Cement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Eunice McDonald; his wife, Sylvia Louise McRae McDonald; four sisters, Georgia Frady, Nina Hinton, Shirley Allen, and Jean Higgins; and one brother, Jim McDonald.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank A. McDonald, Tommy and Sandy McDonald; one daughter and son-in-law, Maurisa and Wayne Kennedy, all of Foreman, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Nicole and Casey Fleming, Mackenzie Kennedy, Maggie McDonald, and Grayson McDonald; two great-grandchildren, Parker Fleming and Amzleigh Fleming, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. McDonald will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 27, 2025, at King Ryder Church of Christ with Buddy Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the Pauley Cemetery in Winthrop, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the funeral home in De Queen.
