Frank McGarry Obituary
The son of the late Alfred B. and Emma J. McGarry he was raised in Scotch Plains before moving to Toms
River in 1972.
He was a graduate of Toms River High School South and Rutgers University; where he served as Treasurer of Phi Gamma Delta for 2 years. Frank was an avid golfer. He was a self-taught pianist. He loved composing and playing for his family and friends.
He worked as a Salesperson/Manager at Seaside Furniture in Toms River for 30 years and most recently at Ashley Furniture in Manahawkin.
He was predeceased by a sister Anne B. Keenan. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Sirli, his daughter, Carmen; his sister, Jeanne Breckenridge, and seven brothers: Alfred J. (Linda), John FX. (Melody), Thomas C. (B. Christine), Michael J. (Susan), Paul V. (Kimberley), James L. (Christine), and Joseph G. (Margaret) McGarry. He is also survived by his mother-in law Ellie; brothers-in-law William Keenan (Karen) and Harles Tiko (Christina), as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a Memorial Gathering to celebrate Frank's life on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 2 to 5 pm at the Carmona Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main St., Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 6, 2024, 9:00am at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River, NJ. Burial will be private.
