Frank R. "Mick" McGuyre, 78, of Danville, passed on September 12, 2024, at home surrounded by family.
He was born September 5, 1946 to the late Frank and Dorisann (McBroom) McGuyre. He graduated from Danville High School and went on to serve this country in Vietnam. He served and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy Reserve and U.S. Army. He started working at Danville Plumbing and Heating before building a career at Eli Lilly and Company working his way up from a janitorial position to Supervisor of Capsule Machine Maintenance before retiring in December 2001. Mick thoroughly enjoyed boating, camping and water skiing.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Donna (Daugherty) McGuyre; daughter, Kristi Waddell (Chad); daughter, Stacy McGuyre (Jason Hasenour); son, Chad McGuyre (Stephanie); grandson, Connor Waddell (Cassie); grandson, Carson Waddell; granddaughter, Aliyah McGuyre; granddaughter, Kiara McGuyre (Blake Stack); granddaughter, Addison Hasenour; grandson, Cane Hasenour; granddaughter, Alexis Hasenour; brother, Terry A. McGuyre (Hila); and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother John T. McGuyre.
