Frank Mims Obituary
It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of MSG (Ret.) Frank Mims, Jr. who entered into rest June 3, 2023.
MSG (Ret.) Mims was a member of First Providence Baptist Church. He retired from the Unites States Army.
Survivors include his loving wife, Joan Crawford Mims; a son, Frank Anthony Mims, III (Tracy); a daughter, Jacqueline Michelle Mims; a sister, Juddie Marbley; five grandchildren and one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 1 pm Friday, June 9, 2023 at First Providence Baptist Church of which Rev. Dr. Alexander Pope, Jr., pastor emeritus and the Rev. Walter R. Scott eulogist. Full military honors will be rendered.
Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
