Frank Miranda, born June 30, 1938, in Jaguas, Puerto Rico, entered eternal rest after a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a love of the outdoors. He was the beloved son of Francisco Miranda and Falfcita Cruz Rivera.
At the age of 18, Frank moved to Illinois, where he began building a life rooted in perseverance and dedication. He spent most of his years in Illinois and Wisconsin, establishing himself as a respected building engineer in Chicago. His career reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Frank found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished time spent outdoors and especially loved fishing, a pastime that brought him peace and connection to nature.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Falfcita. He leaves behind a loving family who will carry his memory forward: his children Frank Miranda, Bruni Miranda, Tammy Sikich, Scott Miranda, Andre Miranda, Anna Miranda, and Linda Miranda; his grandchildren Matthew Miranda, Jarrod Miranda, Melissa Miranda, Christopher, Johnny, Robert, Daniel Whipple, Jessica Whipple, Adam Miranda, Alysha Nicole Wilson, and Ruby Jane Black; and his siblings Carmen Luz Miranda Rodriguez, Brunhilda Miranda, and Luis Miranda.
Frank’s legacy is one of resilience, love, and faith. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
