Frank Mitchell

Frank Mitchell, age 69, of Hunnewell, MO, passed away December 17, 2025, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO.
Frank was born March 30, 1956, in Macon, MO, to Paul Junior Mitchell and Thelma June Chambers. He was united in marriage to Dianna Stephens on January 11, 1975, in Edwardsville, Illinois. She survives.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Danny Mitchell, Paul Mitchell, Stanley Mitchell, Fred Mitchell; a brother-in-law, Glen Stephens; and sisters-in-law, Eva Mitchell and Patty Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife; and two children, Jason (Tina) Mitchell of Shelbina and Erin (Michael) Gill of Shelbina; his grandchildren, Lancing Moore, Somer Gill, Hudson Gill, Landry Gill; three brothers, Mike (Diane) Mitchell of Greenville, Illinois, Brad Mitchell of O'Fallon, Missouri, Jeff Mitchell (Eislinn) of Deland, Florida, and a sister Pam Pritchard (Paul) of Macon, Missouri; a brother-in-law, John Stephens, and sister-in-law Em Beals, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Frank enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren, attending their school events.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 9 am to 11 am, followed by a memorial service at 11 am on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, MO. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors or the Helping Hand of Clarence.
