Frank M. Morabito

Frank has enjoyed the past 25 years with his sweetheart, Susan Bissell. He is predeceased by his wife, Helen (Ohler) Morabito; his parents, Frank and Irene Morabito; and his sister and brother-in-law, Rosemarie and Louis DeRose of California.
Frank is survived by his children, son and daughter-in-law Charles (Kristen) Morabito of Port Charlotte FL, daughter and son-in-law Susan (Seth) Waltz; three grandchildren, Ashley (Joseph) Walker of Baltimore, MD, Staff Sgt Ian Waltz, Lauren (Julian) Adams; eight great-grandchildren; his sister, Margaret (Joseph) LoSapio of Webster, NY; his brother William (Rosalie) Morabito of The Villages, FL; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Frank was born and raised in Utica, NY. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War aboard the USS Princeton. After his years of service, he moved to Rochester and worked at and retired from Delco Products. Known as "Papa" to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Frank enjoyed sailing and watersports of all kinds, creating intricate projects in his woodworking shop, and spending time with his family. He had a passion and zest for life, as well as a great sense of humor, that will be sorely missed.
The family also wishes to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Maplewood Nursing Home in Webster, NY for their wonderful hospitality and tender care during Frank's last days on earth.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 23, 10AM at Anthony Funeral Chapel, Brighton, 2305 Monroe Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery, 220 Coldwater Rd, Rochester, NY 14624. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org) or the USO (uso.org) are welcomed.
