Frank Ollek Jr., also known as Francisek, Francis and Sonny to his siblings, age 89, of Carneys Point, NJ passed away on September 17, 2025. Born in Camden, NJ on May 9, 1936, he was the son of the late Francisek and Ruth (Woods) Ollek. Frank is survived by his children, Theresa A. (Bob) Cannizzaro, Frank III (Lori) Ollek, Kenneth (Barbara) Ollek and Ruth (Jeff) Morrison; 14 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; his siblings, Richard (Dorothy) Ollek, Nancy Henkel, Phyllis Ferrell, Francis (Guy) Foulkes and David Ollek; Sisters In Law, Adele Ollek and Mary Moore; and many Nieces and Nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, whom he married on September 21, 1957, Sara (Guarrera) Ollek, as well as four siblings. Frank worked at the Chrysler Plant in Newark, DE, from which he retired when he was 52. He was also a volunteer fireman and special police officer for Penns Grove, NJ. Frank spent years with his many friends at the Driftwood Campground, where he enjoyed going crabbing and sitting around the campfire in the evenings with a few beers. He also split and sold firewood at his son in law's shop where he met lots of customers for friendly chats, and many still ask about him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 11 AM at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 290 Swedesboro Paulsboro Road, Swedesboro, NJ 08085. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Frank's memory be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, PO Box 91891, Washington DC 20090-1891 or by going to www.nationalmssociety.org.
