James Rhoads, 75, of Monroeville, passed away on September 7, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, James was the son of the late Joseph and DeLores (née Heim) Rhoads. He was self-employed as a truck driver and known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his family. James had a lifelong love of music, often playing the drums and guitar. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and boating. Whether listening to oldies or country music, he found joy in life's simple pleasures. He is survived by his devoted wife of forty-three years, Christine (née Kolody); his children, James and his wife Kathleen, Laura Hanson and her husband Dave, Paul and his wife Bridget, and Jack and his wife Lauren; and his beloved grandchildren, Brooke (Christopher), James Jr., Shelby (Lauren), Jack Jr. (Amy), Alison (Dylan), Megan (Jake), Emily, Paul Jr. (Julia), Zach, Savannah, Austin, Whyatt, and Ashton. He was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Marc, Isabella, and Christopher, who brought him great joy. He was predeceased by his siblings, Joseph, Richard, Edward, Gerald, and Jack. Services will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ 08098. Family and friends are invited to the viewing beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by a time of sharing at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Lawnside Cemetery.
