Frank Ortez Obituary
He proudly served his country as a United States Marine. He was a member of Post 98 in Sanger, California where he spent lots of time with his Veteran brothers. He was a Veteran counselor at EDD in Sanger for 34 years.
Frank was preceded in death by his father Raymond Ortez, his mother Gloria Platero, his stepfather Richard G. Platero, his brothers Pedro and Reynaldo Ortez, Richard W. Platero of Texas and his son Efrain Ortez.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years Linda Ortez; his five sons, Frank Jr. and Peter Ortez of Selma, Aaron Ortez of Merced, Martin Villalobos of Dallas, Texas and Andrew Villalobos of Sanger; daughters Evie Hernandez and Gloria Serna of Sanger, and Cynthia Sandoval of Dinuba. One brother Manuel Platero; two sisters Jenny Roque and GiGi Rodriguez, all of Watsonville. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eagles Hall Post 98 in Sanger.

Frank was a good man, respectful and a great co- worker! Will always treasure our conversations about life in general. He served his country and his community well.
