It is with a heavy heart to announce that Frank Danforth Parker, Jr. passed away on August 20th, 2024 at Northside Hospital Cherokee in Canton, GA. His frail and tired body was unable to recover from the surgery to remove his cancer. Frank was ready and accepting to be with the Lord and he died peacefully.

Frank was an unbelievable fighter. He spent his whole life fighting chronic medical conditions, but he never lost faith that the Lord would take care of him and see him through it.

More than anything, Frank loved teaching and spreading the word of God. As a teacher and a Pastor, he touched many lives and was always happy to counsel anyone in need. He knew the Bible from front to back and was an inspiration to many. He was witty and loved conversing with people…it didn’t matter the subject. He loved preparing and delivering his online Bible studies. He loved being involved in the church, loved the Redsox, gardening, politics, music, reading, doing puzzles, watching old sitcoms, Christmas and of course…coffee, coffee and more coffee!

Frank is survived by his sister Valerie Parker, his sister Vicki Luther and his brother Frederick Parker.

The family would like to thank everyone for your kind words and for your thoughts and prayers. Thanks also to everyone for being there for Frank when he needed assistance or when he needed a little uplifting. Whether it was rides, social visits, prayers, phone calls, texts or emails…it really meant the world to him.

Frank, you are now at peace forever. Safely Home in Heaven at last. You will be greatly missed by your family and friends.
