Frank Louis Pecsek

On September 26, 2025, Frank Louis Pecsek, Sr., age 68, left this earth surrounded by family and friends.

Frank was born on July 7, 1957, and was raised on the family farm in the Blackwater Borough of Virginia Beach. He worked on the family farm, as well as, for two farmers in the area. He went on to work at White Farm Equipment and Stevenson Tractor for several years before becoming self employed and working on restoring antique tractors. For the last several years, Frank taught welding to homeschooled students at Tradewinds Institute.

Frank was a member of Blackwater Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Station 13, in Virginia Beach, for 49 years. He was also was a member of the Albemarle Antique Power Association in which he participated in many plow days and shows. He recently became a member of the Old Dominion Historical Fire Society.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sherrie Gardner Pecsek; his son, Frank Louis Pecsek, Jr.; and his daughter, Jaime Elizabeth Pecsek; his three grandchildren, William Pecsek, Destiny Pecsek, and Frank Louis Pecsek, III; his brother, Joe Pecsek (Marion); his two sisters, Theresa (Tracy) Pecsek and Stephanie Highsmith; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Elizabeth Pecsek.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Blackwater Baptist Church, 6000 Blackwater Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23457 on October 25, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
