Norma Colbert

Norma Colbert, 76, of Lake Village, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Dermott City Nursing Home. She was born on August 17, 1949, in Lake Village, Arkansas, to the late Will Tolliver Sr. and Lula (Bright) Tolliver. Norma was a devoted member of Stranger's Rest Baptist Church and a hardworking woman who dedicated many years of service to a sewing factory before retiring. She was known for her gentle spirit, strength, and loving heart. Norma found joy in gardening, sewing, cooking, and watching western and cowboy movies. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family and friends, creating memories filled with love, laughter, and warmth.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, T. C. Colbert; her six brothers, Curtis Tolliver, David Tolliver, Will Tolliver Jr., Edward Tolliver, Milton Tolliver, and Haywood Tolliver; and her sister, Cherry Royal.

Norma leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters, Marylan Colbert Daniels (Howard) of Lake Village, Arkansas, and Shereatha "Shauntel" Moss (Duntrael) of Elizabeth City, North Carolina; her two special sons, James Parker of Lake Village, Arkansas, and Rickey Colbert of Dallas, Texas; her three sisters, Lula Mae Tolliver of Little Rock, Arkansas, Joyce Colbert (J.W.) of Arkansas City, Arkansas, and Alice Tolliver of Lake Village, Arkansas; her granddaughters, Serenity Jones of Lake Village, Arkansas, and Dormeshia Magee (JR), of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; her grandsons, Desmond Jackson and Marcel Lewis III, both of North Carolina; her great-grandchildren, C'mirah Gardner, Brooklyn Armour, and Elijah of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at

Bishop-King Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Village, Arkansas. Following the service, the family invites friends and loved ones to join them in sharing Norma's favorite foods at Cypress Hall, located at Pecan Grove RV Park, as a gesture of gratitude and remembrance. Norma Colbert's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will forever remain in

the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
