Frank Stanley Pelc of Croswell passed away on February 28, 2024. He was 59 years old.
Frank was born on May 1, 1964 to Lucy Fenner Pelc and the late John Adam Pelc.
He was the beloved husband of Sheila Aileen Pelc; loving father of Alicia Pelc and Emily Lazar. His brother John Pelc and sister Kim Pelc preceded him in death.
Frank knew from the moment he saw Sheila that she would be the love of his life and his forever best friend. His family was everything to him. Frank loved being immersed in making memories with loved ones and reminiscing in those cherished memories. Frank was eminently kind, gentle and selfless. While a man of few words, Frank had the most amazing sense of humor. He would drop absolutely anything to help someone that needed him.
Frank had an affinity for cars, specifically loving '69 Dodge Chargers. Frank fulfilled his life-long dream of owning such Charger, one that he spent years renovating. His love for that car was only surpassed by his love for Sheila, culminating in him selling the car to afford an engagement ring for them to start their life together.
Frank was also passionate about rescuing animals, often bringing home ones he found abandoned outside. He enjoyed music, making sand castles, and working out in the backyard in the summer. Frank always worked hard to provide a meaningful life for his family with 21 years of service at US Manufacturing; later retiring with the City of Croswell.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and will be missed immensely by his family and those who knew him.
Celebration and remembrance of his life will be held 2 PM Sunday, March 3 at Pomeroy Funeral Home in Croswell. Visitation will be from 12-2 PM prior to the service.
