Frank was born in Coronado, California on May 2nd, 1944. He moved regularly through his school years, and after high school, he enlisted in the Air Force.
After his first term of service in Germany, he married his wife of 56 years, Connie. The last 15 years of military service, they lived in Massachusetts, Louisiana, Maine and Australia. During those years they had three children. Shortly after retirement from the military, they adopted a son.
Frank then retired from the Air Force and he and Connie were called into the ministry. He worked for 41 years with Child Evangelism Fellowship. Every week, he showed Jesus' love to children and helped others teach children about God and His Word, the Bible. The impact he had can never be measured. Frank went to his eternal home with his Savior on December 20th, 2025.
Frank is survived by Connie L Porter - wife of 56 years; Children: Beverly Goshern, Mary Porter, Stephen Porter, Timothy Porter; Grandchildren: Andrea Donaldson, Kayla Goshern Donaldson, Kamiah Goshern-Yeager, Jamie Porter, Parker Porter, Raygan Porter, Christian Porter; Multiple Great Grandchildren; and LOTS of extended family members.
