Frank James Quagliariello Jr., affectionately known among his loved ones as Frankieboy, was a beacon of kindness and generosity whose life was a testament to the power of love and service. Born on February 7, 1953, in Jersey City, NJ, he graced this world with his presence until his peaceful passing on September 10, 2025, in
North Bergen, NJ, due to natural causes.
Frankieboy's early years in Jersey City were filled with the warmth of a close-knit family, learning the values of hard work and compassion from his beloved parents, Frank James and Alma Brema Quagliariello, who predeceased him. He held dear memories of his childhood, which were often recounted with fondness at family gatherings, much to the joy of his cousins Charles Brema Jr., Ellen Quagliariello, Anne Miller, Michele Brema MacEnroe, Lorraine, Karen, and Richard Quagliariello.
After two years of college, Frankieboy pursued a successful career as a certified bricklayer and tile setter. His craftsmanship, honed over 15 years of dedication in the Bricklayer Union, was not just a job but a form of artistry that he poured his soul into. His work stands as a lasting legacy to his meticulous nature and his commitment to building something beautiful and enduring.
Frankieboy lived out his Christian faith in practical ways, always extending a hand to those in need. He found his greatest joy in helping others, reflecting the words of Mother Teresa, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." His life was a series of small, loving acts that, together, created a great tapestry of generosity.
An avid music lover, Frankieboy's spirit would light up with the melodies of his favorite bands across all genres. Music was his sanctuary, where he found relaxation and joy. He also cherished good food and wine, particularly the culinary creations of his cousin Karen, whose cooking, he often said, reminded him of his mother's. These simple pleasures were the cornerstones of a life rich in love and fellowship.
Those who knew Frankieboy will remember him as a loving, kind, and generous soul. His presence was a source of comfort and inspiration, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all he touched. His life reminds us that, in the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived-this is to have succeeded."
As we bid farewell to Frankieboy, we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey marked by the unwavering faith in the goodness of others, and the unshakable belief in the power of love to change the world. He has left this earth, but the echoes of his love will resonate for eternity. Frank James Quagliariello Jr.'s story was one of a life filled with purpose, passion, and the pursuit of happiness through giving. He will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
