Merv and Cathy Witmer

I always enjoyed talking to Frank --he was always positive and encouraging. I will always remember his willingness to help at the Ephrata Wrestling Tournament. I know he was a light to many people over the years. Please express our (Cathy and my) condolences to the entire family.

Hi my name is Penny and I lived across the street from Frank for 5 years. You can learn alot about a person's attributes in that time. Infact the 1st day we moved in Frank came to our rescue and helped us with moving a heavy piece of furniture. His hobby of chopping wood.... was also one of my favorite things because I knew each log had the potential to be thrown in his wood stove. The smell of the first cold, smoke filled morning signaling the start of fall was always comforting to me. He would take walks often. Sometimes by himself and sometimes with his wife Becky. Seeing them walk hand in hand always made me smile. He would always wave and smile when we walked by and sometimes share some personal moments about his life. He loved his grandchildren I always saw him having fun while they rode their bikes or pushing them in a stroller. Frank loved his family this I could see very clearly from across the street...he will be missed.
