Frank Rice Obituary
Frank James "Peewee" Rice, 64, of Union, SC, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. A native of Spartanburg, SC, he was the husband of Markeshia B. Gory-Rice and the son of the late Monroe Rice, Sr., and Lillie Ruth Smith Rice. Frank attended Mark Hill Baptist Church and was a 1978 graduate of Union High School. Frank was a production operator at CSL Plasma.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by two brothers, Monroe Rice, Jr., and Robert Earl Rice; three sisters, Betty Sims, Earnestine V. Peake, and Mary Briston.
Frank is survived by his devoted wife, Markeshia Gory-Rice; son, Johnny Jeter; daughters, Faith Stewart, Karen Jeter, and Candy Jeter; god-son, Marvin Gilliam; god-daughter, Victoria Rice Shippy; numerous grandchildren to include Jaquan Jeter reared in the home; many great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Ann (Terry) Worthy; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends all whom will miss him dearly.
Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.

I am so very sorry to hear of Pee Wee's passing. I am truly heartbroken. He and I shared the love of music, especially singing in the church. I even got to sing with him years ago on the radio when we used to go up to WBCU and sing with his choir. He used to come every year to our revivals at Paradise A.M.E. Church, and I would love to hear him lead a song. Well,now Pee Wee, you're singing in that heavenly choir. Rest in Everlasting Peace, Dear Friend. You will be truly missed here on Earth. May God continue to bring peace and comfort to your family and friends.
